Lenz's general attitude reminds Evan of her own friends, so she'd have been kind to him when she first met him. And if he ever wants to know the inner workings of his cat's mind, let her know.

He's fiiiiiiiiiine.

Lenz is actually rooming with one of said friends (Sal), so I imagine they'll have plenty of opportunities to meet! And Evan can wonder why on earth these two were thrown in an apartment together. Mistakes were made.

I think Lenz is tempted but doesn't want to take Scratch's enigma from him at the end of the day. What's a cat without his mystery, Evan? He does, however, encourage her to befriend Scratch because he is the best cat. No notes. Perfect cat. In his objective opinion.

Colleague! And a long-time colleague at that, since they were both at Enodia from the start. My apologies to Zee that she's had to be around him for so long. I think Lenz probably likes Zee, but he also thinks she's repressed with how calm and Mom Friend she is. Unfortunately, he's probably keen to tease her/needle her to get a reaction and to encourage her to let her hair down, even if none of it ever works. They're both also night people it sounds like, so they may occasionally cross paths at weird hours.

...also, he's deeply confused by the fact that she still lives with her parents. The idea of that makes his skin crawl. (But also his parents were awful, so.)

WOMP WOMP. Look...it wasn't their fault!

I can see them being weird friends, and no she cannot explain living with her parents either but it is what it is.
