Jack will be fond of Dorin, I think! He might be slightly annoying in trying to coax Dorin out of his shell, both at work and outside of it. Also, because of Dorin's hematophagous physiology, I don't think Jack's mind-linking powers will really work on Dorin!

Jack trying to get him out of his shell makes Dorin big anxious (because! that's his comfort zone!!) but also happy (because Jack wants him to be involved!). What a dilemma. But I think Dorin will be fond of Jack too. He tends to be drawn in by strong personalities and will be just so impressed by him.

If Jack ever gets around to figuring out that Dorin is mostly immune to his mind powers, Jack would probably have to handcuff himself to keep from patting Dorin on the shoulder too often. He's so touch-starved, Dorin. Let him shake your hand, please...

Meanwhile Dorin is debating on whether it would be nice or weird to offer to hold hands/ask if he'd like a hug.

I just had a vision of Dorin and Jack walking around the medical building very seriously and earnestly discussing pressing work matters (i.e., the House M.D. walk-and-talk) while holding hands and it made my frozen, stone-like heart get one degree warmer.
