at the risk of throwing too many "???" characters into the pot, rory's the game's established colchester simp who's already put his fingers in all the town's pies (farmers' market! diners! the parks & rec department!) and would absolutely do missing-parent legwork. altruistic small-town b&b espionage is what this man was born for.

would it be okay to add him? or to recruit him anew ic lmao, whichever works best.

learning how to use canva is so dangerous... there is now a page 2 which is even less coherent than the first version
