Meme: Housing

Enodia Station will re-open soon and that means moving back into the Residential Building! Fill out this meme to tell other players about your character's space, how they act at home, and (potentially) how they are to live with. Godspeed to the roommates.

If you haven't claimed an apartment for your character, you can do so here. If you need to review the Residential Building or the apartment layouts, that information can be found here.

Only players with accepted characters should complete this meme.

NAME: Character name.
APARTMENT: Apartment number.
ROOMMATE(S): List roommate(s), if any.
PET(S): List pets, if any.

DECORATIONS: How will the character personalize their space? Do they have an aesthetic or a theme? Are their tastes expensive or cheap? Are they a minimalist or do they hoard tchotchkes? Does this differ between rooms?
TIDINESS: How neat is the character? Do they pick up after themselves or leave a mess? Are they organized or does everything just end up where it ends up? Do they take their shoes off at the door?
HABITS: What is the character like at home? Do they have different idiosyncrasies or behaviors when in their own space? Do they have a routine?
BELONGINGS: Does the character have any particular belongings that they're especially proud of or especially attached to? Do they keep anything hidden in their room that they wouldn't want others to find?

AS A ROOMIE: If applicable, how is this character as a roommate? Are they considerate or oblivious when it comes to their roommate's preferences? Do they enforce a chore wheel? How do they feel about having a roommate? How do they treat shared spaces?
AS A NEIGHBOR: How is this character as a neighbor? Do they interact with neighbors at all or ignore them? Are they the party neighbor that plays loud music all night? Are they the reliable neighbor that'll check in on your plants and pets while you're away? Are they a snoop that's always trying to get an invite inside?

GETTING AWAY: When your character wants to leave the Station, do they have a personal vehicle for that or do they rely on IRIS transportation? If they do have transportation, what kind is it? Are they willing to give anyone else a lift? Is their car their baby that they put a ton of effort into?

NAME: Lenz Polzin
APARTMENT: 308
ROOMMATE(S): Salvador Roca + One Other Lucky(?) Person
PET(S): A mangy black cat named (Old) Scratch. He has huge yellow eyes that stare into your soul and an off-putting raspy meow but is surprisingly sweet. He comes and goes as he pleases and can be found skulking around the Station in unexpected places. If he likes you, he might bring you a dead thing. :) You're welcome.

DECORATIONS: Lenz's design choices are no-effort bachelor and dark colors punctuated with loud patterns, kitschy shit that caught his attention at some point or other, and the occasional occult accoutrement. At least it's not boring? Most of what he owns is cheap or secondhand ~~or stolen~~, not worth much, though he'll overpay on some vintage oddity every now and again.

TIDINESS: Lenz is middle of the road when it comes to keeping house. His space is clean but he's not concerned much about presentation. When he 'makes the bed', it's the two-second pull the blankets back up and pick the pillows up off the floor kind of making the bed. When he 'puts things away', he's putting them in whatever place makes sense to him at the time or wherever gets them out of sight. And so on. As long as the place meets the bar of good enough, he's okay with that. He mostly smokes outside or in his pocket dimension as a courtesy.

HABITS: Lenz doesn't have a routine; he comes and goes at all hours and is generally difficult to keep track of. You know, impulsive teleporter behavior. That said, he tends to be a night owl, to sleep poorly, and to wake up late. So his mornings are kind of chaotic. He doesn't consider the apartment to be his safe space or his decompressing place (that's his pocket dimension); it's more just where he keeps his stuff and eats some of his meals and meets up with his roommates. But, hey. He appreciates all those things.

BELONGINGS: While Lenz doesn't hesitate to acquire things that suit his tastes, he's ultimately not an overly materialistic or sentimental person. At the end of the day, it's all just stuff and he could easily give it up or leave it behind. Been there, done that. He doesn't have anything from his childhood or the early days of being a vagabond with his sister.

AS A ROOMIE: Lenz likes living with other people. He doesn't always want company but he always wants the option of company and roommates are good for that. As a roommate, he's unreliable and not particularly considerate, but he typically does his fair share and he's typically willing to put aside petty disagreements to have some drinks or have some fun. If he cooks, he makes enough for three. So appreciate him, thanks.

AS A NEIGHBOR: Lenz doesn't think about his neighbors at all. He won't go out of his way to make things easier or harder for them. They're just not his problem. If he happens to become friendly with any neighbors, though, he'll let them come and go from his space as they like and will expect the same.

GETTING AWAY: Lenz has a vintage motorcycle that he can perform basic maintenance on but is wholly unqualified to fix when it has actual problems. But who cares? He can teleport. The motorcycle is just for fun.
