INCOMING: A third character

HELLOOOOOOOO this is Alex bringing in NUMBER 3. This is Dr. Augustin Chevalier-Desjardins. He never had enough room to spell out his name on standardized tests as a kid.

QUICK FACTS:

• Raised in Montreal, part of an upper crust Québécois family.
  
• Became a Liminal basically the same day the rifts opened and was put in observation until his family was like "excusez-moi but you cannot have him he's ours??" and sprung him. But after that he decided he had to work to understand rifts and Liminality from a people-first perspective.
  
• Has traveled to a lot of different stations and talked to a lot of people and published books and stuff. Just got back from a book tour actually. You know, academic guy stuff!! Niche famous but not like real famous.
  
• Powers are tactile knowledge assimilation (if he touches something with words printed on it then he absorbs all that information), panmnesia (he does not forget, so everything is still stored in there even if he doesn't understand it) and sleeplessness (what it says on the tin).
  
• Works in research as an Atmospheric Physicist (he was studying SPACE WEATHER pre-rifts) and co-owns The Space Between. Happy to foot the bill and give out drinks on the house because he doesn't understand money.
  
• Formerly banned from trivia night at The Space Between. His BANNED pictures are still on the wall. They were his latest Christmas card.
  
• Likes to talk to people. Will probably send texts to friends at odd hours with sudden realizations about the true meaning of Jurassic Park.

Potential connections or things if you want:
- He's traveled to different stations and around the country gathering info and interviewing people, AND he reads as many research papers and articles as he can about Liminals gettin' up to shit. Maybe your character met him, or they were written up in a research paper or article (good or bad lol), and Augustin just knows their name. IDK!

- RESEARCH PEOPLE pls how might they get along. Augustin is certain they're all best friends :) Luckily everyone in this division is very functional and friendly!!

Hello hello everyone! JJ here with my third character, Shannon Wan. Her profile is here.

Shannon is:

🎒 A freshly hired computer programmer in Operations who will be working as a training room technician, coming up with inventive new ways to kick your asses in training. She will also be moonlighting as cybersecurity in Security. Previously, she was working as a mobile game developer.

🎒 Crysta's old frenemy from troubled teen camp. Chronically did not live up to her potential as a teenager, and got sent to wilderness camp when she skipped too many classes to play video games in the library. Whoops!

🎒 A recent divorcee at the age of 24, fighting against her uhaul lesbian instincts with her ENTIRE life. She will NOT be kissing or dating anybody until she is six months post divorce finalization, probably!

🎒 The mom friend who has everything you could possibly need in her purse when you go to Disneyland together, except she's got extradimensional pocket space. A lifelong packrat, she's got everything she could possibly need in her cosmic backpack.

🎒 The loving owner of two ferrets whomst she kidnapped from her ex-wife's show ferret breeding empire.

Since she doesn't know anybody but Crysta here yet, I'm happy to just throw her at people and see what happens, but also would love to hear your thoughts if you have any! She will be arriving to menace people tomorrow.
